The Ford Escape Hybrid with its new 2.5 liter Atkinson-cycle I-4 engine boosts late intake valve closing or LIVC as well as advanced processor technology for smooth transition from gas to electric mode give you a smooth ride. The electric motor is capable of working the Ford Escape Hybrid SUV up to 40 mph without the need to tap on gasoline and all these are a commendable 155 to 180 horsepower. It is indeed everyone’s guess that in view of the desperately struggling GM, the Chevy Volt which is slated to launch in 2010 might yet again be postponed though.

European Hybrid Cars
